Why “dc armoury”?

It’s kind of a pun, actually; there’s a local landmark called the DC Armory that serves as the headquarters for the District of Columbia National Guard, and we just took the spelling for our name from the Arsenal club shop at Emirates Stadium.

who are we?

DC Armoury is a volunteer-run supporters’ club for Arsenal FC, representing the District of Columbia Area within Arsenal America.

What is Arsenal America?

Arsenal America is the official Arsenal FC supporters’ club for the United States (excluding New York and Philadelphia). DC Armoury is an official branch of Arsenal America. While AA does offer an annual premium membership with exclusive benefits, if you just want a place to come and watch the Gunners, you don’t need a membership to join us.

Are you afflilated with the Arlington gooners?

Yes and no; the Arlington Gooners are a separate branch of Arsenal America representing Arlington County, Virginia, right across the river from us. They meet at Ireland’s Four Courts in the Court House neighborhood. We don’t run them, but of course, we’re all good friends.

do you sell merchandise?

On occasion, we make a new DC Armoury scarf and/or shirt for a particular season, but we don’t maintain an online shop for ourselves. We don’t have a permanent range of DCA gear; when our items are gone, they’re gone. Also, we don’t sell any official Arsenal merchandise; you’ll need to go to Arsenal Direct or any other reputable soccer vendor.

do you show arsenal women matches?

We’re proud to show Arsenal Women when kickoff times allow; unfortunately, as WSL matches can start even earlier than the earliest Premier League matches, this isn’t always possible, but we try to air every AWFC match we can.

how do i get to franklin hall?

Franklin Hall is located at 1348 Florida Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009. It’s three blocks north of U Street station on Metro’s Green Line and is also accessible by the Metrobus D50 line (14th St and Florida Ave NW stop). Street parking is somewhat limited and is pay-to-park.

What time does franKlin hall open for arsenal matches?

Doors open one hour before kickoff, unless otherwise stated; please check our Upcoming Matches page or our social media feeds for details.

Yes, you can bring your children to Franklin Hall.

dO YOU WATCH AT OTHER PUBS?

While Franklin Hall is our main home, Gold Clover Bar and Easy Tiger are other Arsenal-friendly venues in the District.

I support another Premier League club. Can I come watch when we play Arsenal?

Your best bet is to look up the local supporters’ group for your chosen club. Arsenal supporters will occasionally bring a friend who supports a different club; however, please note we often reach capacity at Franklin Hall, especially for big matches. If you do watch with us, behave.
